The active Turrialba Volcano is nearby. There are canopy tours, Pre-Colombian ruins, a snake farm, coffee tours, nature reserves, and many more things to do nearby.

The cabin has a living room with a TV, DVD and movies are available, includes a furnished kitchen for cooking, a porch with rocking chairs and hummingbird feeders, there are two double beds and bunk beds. There is wireless internet. A washer and dryer are available. The garage has space for one car.
